My wife and I worked with Brian while out of state. Brian made the process looking for and buying a home despite being hours away very easy. Due to the distance, we had to put in a lot of legwork prior to viewing any actual houses. Brian discussed the various areas of Atlanta with us, since neither my wife nor I had lived in the area before. After narrowing our search down to 5 or 6 areas we were interested in, Brian sent us homes from each area to help us get a feel for the types and prices of homes in each area. Based on that, we were able to narrow our search down to three areas. At that point, we picked some homes from each of the areas and made our first trip to view homes in person. The trip to Atlanta was also effortless. Brian set up all of our appointments. All we had to do was show up at his office in the morning and he handled the rest. He had done plenty of research on the homes and was able to answer all of our questions and give us an assessment of the value of the home. We decided to make an offer on a home, and Brian walked us through the process step-by-step. Once negotiations commenced, Brian was in constant contact, always providing his advice, but never forcing a decision on us. Unfortunately, the first home we made an offer on came back with a very negative home inspection (from a very thorough inspector recommended by Brian). Brian discussed each negative item with us and how it would affect the home. We then talked about all of the options. Eventually, we decided to back out of the contract, and Brian fully supported us. After a second round of looking at homes, we found one that we loved. The inspection went much better, and we proceeded to closing. The closing was done by a firm recommended by Brian and was completely painless - we were in and out in under an hour. Even the seller’s attorney commented on how the closing was one of the smoothest he has ever attended. Brian is very knowledgeable about real estate, and he has also assembled a top-notch support group that I would recommend. Brian and his team were perfect. Due to his help and guidance I was able to find the perfect townhouse for an unbelievable price (with a garage!). I had previously fired another agent who was non-responsive and never available to view homes, so when I set out to find a new agent, I knew what I was looking for and what to avoid. Brian was always available at times that were convenient to me. More than once, he came out in the pouring rain to show me homes. He responded to every email I sent within two hours, with the average response time on his part being about fifteen minutes, if that.
