Although Buckhead is itself an Atlanta neighborhood, it is a large enough area that it actually consists of well over 30 individual neighborhoods. Each neighborhood has its own distinct flavor, style, and price ranges, here are a few of my favorites: Tuxedo Park is one of Buckeads most prestigious neighborhoods with a whos-who list of Atlantas elite calling Tuxedo Park home. The homes in Tuxedo Park are mostly situated on very large lots of of several acres and feature some of the most impressive architecture, and price tags, in Atlanta. Whitewater Creek is a Buckhead neighborhood that gives you the feeling of being in Highlands North Carolina....when in reality you are a mere 10 minutes from downtown Atlanta. It is a small area, bordered by I-75 on the West, Mount Paran Road on the South and the Chattahoochee River National Forest on the North. The deep rolling hills, large lots, and the incredible hiking along the river give this area a sense of seclusion that is hard to find. People who buy homes in Whitewater Creek generally love nature and want to be surrounded by it. In north Buckhead you will find the large area of Chastain Park. This neighborhood has one of the proudest residents in all of Buckhead...they love their neiborhood and are proud of it! Chastain Park residents enjoy many amenities including the Chastain Horse park and Stables, the famous Chastain Park Amphitheater, the North Fulton Golf Course, and the Chastain Park Athletic Club and pool. Excellent Little League sports also help to make this area a favorite among young families. Homes for sale in Chastain Park start around $500,000 and go upwards of $3 Million.
