What is Vinings Real Estate?

Located in an affluent area of Northwest Atlanta, Vinings is a name quickly associated with rich history, elegant homes and a small town feel. While nearby towns often use the name in advertizing, Vinings technically falls within 3.4 square miles of the 30339 zip code and is bound by I-285/75 on the north, Atlanta Road and the Chattahoochee River to the South.

Originally known as Crossroads in 1830, Vinings began as a construction station for Western and Atlantic Railroad which connected Atlanta and Chattanooga prior to the Civil War.  This now historic railroad is crossed by Paces Ferry Road, named after Hardy Pace who operated Pace's Ferry across the Chattahoochee River. Shortly thereafter, William Vining finished the construction of Vining's Bridge for the railroad and thus the name Vinings was born.

Perhaps equally significant as its history is Vinings' ability to maintain home values. While its average median income is about 40% higher than the rest of Georgia, Vinings property values are approximately 350% higher than the rest of the state. A few of the factors that influence home values are excellent proximity to the city, affordable Cobb county taxes and top ranked private schools such as Lovett and Westminster.

Single Family Homes in Vinings currently range in price from the mid-300's to multi-million dollar estates, while there are a number of condos and townhomes available ranging from the 100's into the millions. Vinings has much to offer and we would love to help you find the perfect new home, whether looking to purchase for the first time or move up to your dream home. Please feel free to contact us any time to let us know how we can meet your real estate needs. We have a long list of highly satisfied clientele and would love to serve you as well.
