Two Great Golf Communities

Both are on the Hirsh Real Estate website and are spectacular communities with amazing deals. Both of these clubs have waived there initiation fees and are just allowing monthly golf dues. A couple of great features that I liked are the nice spacious lots, great common areas, and privacy. You might even pass the who's who of Atlanta in the club house. These clubs are some of Atlanta's exclusive.
Hawk's Ridge is a little piece of heaven. Its hard to force yourself to take a divot on the bent grass tee boxes. Lots are very spacious and there are several right on the course. The homes are diverse and don't over take the property. Home prices have a pretty wide range with most homes over $800,000. Nicely placed in the big oaks of blue ridge it truly is a retreat from the fast paced Atlanta lifestyle. If you haven't been there we need to take a ride and see this one of a kind community.
Governors Towne Club is special to me because I remember when they broke ground on the community. The first time I played the course I was so impressed by the condition and the character of the course. Another great feature I liked were the common areas. They have a baseball field, a great pool, a big community club house, and play ground for the little ones. Lots are currently about $150,000 and up and the manor homes start at around $450,000. Currently they are in the middle of building their clubhouse.
Rolling through the hills of north Atlanta's Acworth in an area of great schools Governors Towne Club is a good addition to Cobb County. Currently there are tons of great buys, from lots to empty homes it is a spot not to forget.
