The Only Realtor in The U.S. Senate

I am personally a member of the Atlanta Board of Realtors and I like to be as involved as possible in furthering and improving the real estate industry, goodness knows we need to improve the average real estate agent! I was pretty excited last week when a colleague of mine invited me over to his home in Buckhead to meet with U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson and chat about the state of our nation and the business climate here in Georgia.

Senator Isakson is the only Realtor in the Senate and he was president of the now-closed Northside Realty here in Atlanta for 22 years. We did not solve the problems of the world, but it was certainly a treat to enjoy an hour with a man who has such great influence on the real estate industry around the country and here in Georgia!
