2008
Back in 2008 the Buckhead real estate market had become oversupplied, along with most other markets in the metro Atlanta area. 20 homes still sold Peachtree Park in spite of these market conditions. They averaged $635,000 as shown by the chart below:

In the first three quarters of 2009, market troubles continued to deepen and it became a true buyers market. The rate of home sales has actually increased with 17 closed year to date, but the average price has tumbled to $475,000. This sharp decrease in average sale price can be attributed to three factors: -Decreased buyer confidence, foreclosure sales, and scarcity of financing for loans above $417,000. -->
