Cosmopolitan Boom in Atlanta Downtown District
Posted by Ben Hirsh on Friday, September 19th, 2008 at 2:02pm.One district within south east Atlanta more than anywhere throughout the state of Georgia is evolving in to the principle hub of the cosmopolitan scene. The Luckie Marietta District already features some of Georgia’s main tourist attractions and academic institutions; World of Coca Cola, Georgia Aquarium, the Georgia Dome, and the Georgia Institute of Technology. The Luckie Marietta continued growth has also seen some of the finest dining establishments move in to the area. Some Restaurants already installed are Rise Sushi Lounge, The Wine Loft, also featured is STATS sports bar where you get to pour your own drink! All are now to be joined by a branch of George Berkowitz’s Legal Sea Foods. The Boston based Seafood specialty Restaurant.
If you are the type of person who prefers to live surrounded by a bustling city centre commercial scene filled with the buzz of cosmopolitan people 7 days per week try Intown Atlanta Real Estate to search online for a wide choice of town centre condos and apartments.
The Luckie Marietta development is a 6 acre $200 development right in the centre of downtown Atlanta, but to add to it, many top level hotels have also announced their interest in enjoying a piece of the pie in the district. The Hilton Hotel Group are rumored to be behind a $4.6 million land deal, joining a flurry of other hotel chains such as St. Regis, Mandarin and Loews with projects already in construction in the area.
The Luckie Marietta district also has adequate parking and good metro connection with its central location between two MARTA transit stations, and not without good reason. The main tourist and entertainment attractions in the area boast an annual visitor level expected to top 14 million by the end of 2008.
If you enjoy never having too much to do and love to be out and about the town every day, a condo in the area surrounding Luckie Marietta could be the place for you
