Buckhead Homes Sold in October (so far)

There have been 28 homes sold in Buckhead so far this month. The most expensive sale happened just a few days ago at 3100 N. Wesley Court, a quiet culdesac in the Paces neighborhood of West Buckhead where I live.

Paces Neighborhood Home sales The home has been on the market for an incredible 350 days and was originally priced at $4.3 Million by the builder.

The attention to detail by the designer, Yong Pak, definitely set this home apart. The excellent location in a private neighborhood and proximity to some of Buckhead's best private schools also helped make this home attractive to the new owners.

If you are looking for a home in Buckhead, and you do not have $3 Million to spend, don't worry! The average sale price for the Buckhead area is about $750,000 and the lowest-priced homes sold so far this month demonstrates some of the values available:

3596 Habersham Road, located at the edge of Buckhead's Tuxedo Park Neighborhood, sold for $222,500. It may not look very beautiful in the photo, but the location on one of the better streets in Buckhead makes this home an excellent value even for the value of the lot. This was an excellent investor sale, as there is plenty of equity that could be tapped with a thoughtful renovation/expansion. This is certainly the lowest-priced sale on Habersham Rd in recent memory.
