Brookwood Hills Neighborhood Buckhead
Posted by Ben Hirsh on Tuesday, January 19th, 2010 at 1:56pm.ust North of Midtown where interstates 75 and 85 split you will find the Buckhead neighborhood of Brookwood Hills. in the 1920's when Brookwood was developed it was considered to be the suburbs of the busy town of Atlanta, which was really starting to grow quickly.
Now Brookwood Hills is one of the most convenient neighborhoods to live in if you work in the office towers of Midtown or Downtown Atlanta. Simply hop onto Peachtree Street and you are a few minutes from almost any office building in Midtown. The homes for sale in Brookwood Hills range from the $400's all the way past $1.5 million. Most are renovated homes with loads of charm to warm your heart. Another major reason to love Brookwood Hills are the handful of wonderful restauraunts within walking distance along Peachtree St. Foremost among these is the venerable coffee, tea, desert, and wine bar of Cafe Intermezzo. With the most impressive and creative drink list in all of Buckhead, and the cozy atmosphere of an old-world European coffee house...this place is a personal favorite of mine.
