Atlanta Real Estate Preview 2011

Our business nearly doubled last year with over $20million in sales and we are looking forward to what 2011 will bring for Hirsh Real Estate Specialists and our clients. The overall recovery has been slow but there are some encouraging numbers to consider and some beautiful homes on the market. Here are the specifics.
Atlanta Rebounds
Average sales price for a single family home in Atlanta rose by more than 17% in 2010 over 2009. This is excellent news for sellers! Even though prices have come up, homes are still quite affordable for buyers since fixed mortgage rates remain in the 4-4.5% range.
The number of homes sold in Vinings last year was up an astounding 68% over 2009! Prices managed to rise by about 2% for single family homes and 5% for town homes and condos.
