Atlanta Food Trucks - Get in on the Fun!

One of my friends introduced me to a growing phenomenom - food trucks. If you have not yet seen a food truck, I am sure you will soon. A food truck isn't anything like a hot dog stand, which may be what you're picturing. Rather, it looks like a small winnebago with a giant opening on the side - where you order and receive food - and a full kitchen in back.
Each truck specializes in a specific type of food. For example, there may be a panini truck or taco truck and so on. Food trucks featuring BBQ food are very popular. Food trucks have quickly taken over the dining and social scene in popular neighborhoods like Buckhead and Atlantic Station. They make their appearance on certain nights on a designated block. Their popularity doesn't seem to be slowing down. In fact, just this past weekend Food Network sent cameras down to tape a segment for their show Eat Streets. Is it possible that food trucks may take over coffee shops as the the new social craze? Only time will tell. But in the meantime, I'm enjoying my chicken chipotle taco made in the back of a truck.
