602 Berne Street in Atlanta

If I'm hiding i'm usually on the golf course. Spring is also a good time to buy or sell a home, in fact a high percentage of the real estate sold is with in the first 5 months of the year. This year is no exception 2011 is projected to be a great year.
One great place that I like is Grant Park on the east side of Atlanta off HWY 20. Grant Park is community that has come alive in the past few years. Great restaurants, the Zoo, and the park are just a short walk away. Homes range from a small bungalow to a craftsman style home usually priced from the $150's to the high $400's. Most of the homes are over 50 years old and have tons of character.
602 Berne Street is the home I'm listing and it is a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom that has been updated all through out. Just last year the home owner add a wonderful custom bathroom off the back of the home. Most of the 2 bedroom homes in Grant Park don't have a second bath or a basement. 602 Berne Street has both and with plenty of storage and a laundry room in the basement it really allows the main level to lay out nicely. Parking off the street can be a bit of a premium in Grant Park so the fact that 602 Berne Street has a drive way is a big deal. Some of the $400k homes in Grant Park don't have driveways. Some of my favorite features about the home include custom landscaped walls around the property, a beautiful double vanity in the master bath, a cedar walk in closet in the master, and the totally renovated front porch.
