I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving with friends and family.  Now that we have all filled our stomachs with turkey and dressing and watched our teams hopefully win their big rivalry game it's time to get serious about that house hunt.  I know this month can get a little hectic, but it can be a great time to take a day and look at houses.  There are so many beautiful houses around Atlanta and just think they will have all of their gorgeous decorations right now.  You can see them at their best!  These are just a couple that I found that are great deals:

The first one is located in Alpharetta in the beautiful Hermitage subdivision.  It has approximately 1 acre and an incredible master suite.  This house is absolutely…

Historic Marietta Estate - 5 Acres, Tennis, Lake and Guest House

While previewing properties for a client recently I came across a beautifully sprawling historic estate in Marietta. As I entered the winding drive and stepped up the columned entrance, it felt a bit like slipping back in time to 1940's California.

Rather, it looks like a small winnebago with a giant opening on the side - where you order and receive food - and a full kitchen in back.

Each truck specializes in a specific type of food.  For example, there may be a panini truck or taco truck and so on. Food trucks featuring BBQ food are very popular. Food trucks have quickly taken over the dining and social scene in popular neighborhoods like…

Atlanta Real Estate News

Monday, November 14th, 2011 at 5:29pm. 575 Views, 0 Comments.

As we approach the end of 2011, it is still a strong buyer’s market across Atlanta. Mortgage rates have dropped again since the summer and while prices are struggling to recover, certain properties seem to attract all the attention. We are always looking to grow our business, so if you or those you know are in need of professional real estate advice please feel free to give me a call.

So what’s the latest with home prices?

Home prices are actually up nearly 7% in the North Atlanta area around Buckhead and the number of homes sold is up more than 10%, which is good news. Smyrna and Vinings prices are still down more than 10% for the year, but there are a number of great homes pending sale right now, so I do expect the average price and volume…
